Hi, I'm Sharnae, the founder of Play Dates Temuka.
I started Play Dates when I got fed up with trying to organise what my eldest was doing during the school holidays when I needed to be at work. The constant juggle was exhausting, and there presented an opportunity to provide a service for the Temuka community in order to making raising little people a bit easier.
We provide a small group space for all out of school care including before and after school care and school holiday programme where your children can feel engaged and looked after.
I am incredibly lucky to have my small team alongside me of follow parents who want to provide the safest and most fun space for your children to thrive. We are also very lucky to be able to enlist the help of Opihi College students for work experience.
Please note: All staffed are police vetted, undergo first aid training and an extensive induction to ensure we provide the safest and best care possible.

Sharnae Naysmith
Sharnae is the head behind Play Dates Temuka. After seeing that there was a desperate need for out of school care services in Temuka, she developed Play Dates to provide reliable, safe and fun care.
Sharnae has built a career in marketing across multiple industries and is excited to a fresh start in childcare that provides more balance to her life as a working parent.
Sharnae is married to Dylan and they have two children, Emily and Finn. You'll find them exploring the outdoors, camping, boating and spending quality time as a family.

Morgan Southgate
Morgan brings a wealth of knowledge in the childcare space, and is passionate about providing genuine care for children.
With experience in in-home care, Morgan understands the key elements that help make a programme like Play Dates tick. Morgan is also studying Early Childhood care.
Morgan lives with partner, Chris and they have 3 children.
